Virtual IDM Telecommunications Inc. was founded in May 2005 by its current President and CEO Marco Zelada, along with Carolina Parra its current CFO. Mr. Zelada holds advanced degrees in engineering, B.S.C.S., M.S.C.E., and an MBA. Mr. Zelada has previously helped to start other successful startups, one of which went IPO and the second one which was acquired by a leading company in its field. Mr. Zelada has a background of 20+ years in the communications and semiconductor industry in North America, and has worked with some of the giants in the field such as Intel, IBM, Nortel, etc. Miss. Parra, holds a B.S in P.Sc. and an MBA, along with an impressive background in legal matters with leading enterprises in Caracas Venezuela.

The company is totally self funded and has built an impressive network with redundant facilities in London, Amsterdam and New York. We are a privately held company that has done things right from the beginning, by striving for quality and not low prices, in an industry full of low price-quality leaders.

We have bilateral agreements with most Tier 1 companies and a large number of PTT’s around the world. This coupled with our partners who provide direct routes for termination and our own network of PoPs.
